I am offering my 67k Low Mile 1968 CHEVROLET CAPRICE ESTATE WAGON for sale. I have decided to purchase a commercial building to house my car collection and regretfully must let the wagon go to proceed. 😞

The condition, owner history and originality on this wagon make me reluctant to let it go. It is truly amazing and it is not too often that you find an unmolested car, let alone a wagon in this condition. This wagon is dripping in originality, documentation & paperwork and defined owner history from the day it was new. (see photo gallery)

Sold new to DJ Selleck at Dennis Pepin Auto Ltée in Québec, CANADA in the 2nd week of June, 1968 (06/12/1968). VIN: 1663582151011. The understated elegance and utility of the 1968 CHEVROLET CAPRICE ESTATE WAGON is awesome. I have always loved this body style. It helped cement the station wagon's place in American culture as a symbol of family and adventure. This one is READY to HEAD out on a FAMILY EXCURSION ... Today, finding a 1968 Chevrolet Caprice Wagon in pristine condition can be akin to discovering hidden treasure. This was certainly the highwater mark of the Chevrolet Wagon offerings, culminating in the highly sought-after 1968 model year. With production numbers not as high as some other models from that era, they can be relatively rare finds, especially as nice as this one.

Mr. Selleck and his family meticulously cared for this car and owned it up until the late 90's. You can see pictures that I was given of Mr. Selleck with this wagon with his kids in the photo gallery link at the bottom of this listing.

This Chevrolet Caprice Estate Wagon with original 327ci/275hp Engine & Turbo 400 Hydramatic Transmission is an original survivor car with Original Paint & Original Simulated Wood Grain Paneling. YES ! AMAZING ! It is equipped with a 10 Bolt Rear End with 2.73 ratio (non posi). The original interior is in near mint condition for it's age and amazing. The dash board (usually cracked and disfigured from the sun) is perfect. The door panels and headliner are amazing, as well. This car starts, runs and drives amazingly.

Rare optioned with Factory Disc Brakes, Power Steering & Power Brakes. This car also has the Power Rear Wagon Tailgate Window. Also ordered new in 1968, This Estate Wagon has the largest small block offering in the 1968 model year as well as the most heavy duty transmission possible (Turbo 400).
